Employees rate Bowie 20.4% lower than the overall average
I worked at The MIL Corporation full-time (Less than a year)
Good pay, decent benefits, fairly flexible with back office team.
Severlely understaffed in the back office, management by e-mail, little to no training for many of the back office jobs.
Corproate culture is sterile, there seems to be an "old boys club" mentality in place. Company seems to be stuck in the 80's in the sense of management mentality. Not modern at all.
Advice to Management
Don't expect employees to be able to fully do their job by Day 2, need a little bit of training.
Develop better culture, needs to start from the top down.

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at The MIL Corporation (Bowie, MD) in September 2013.
Conference room setting. Those present included the Head of HR, the HR Manager, and the Payroll Specialist. Very open and friendly. Easy-going, no intense pressure. Lots of smiles and jokes. I never felt like I was being grilled. It felt very informal and very little stress was involved during the process.
