I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Uber (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in March 2016.
The application process is very easy from a smart phone or computer. Training videos provided were very helpful. Waiting for confirmation only took a few days. At the end of the training videos, an employee is left with very few questions on how to get started and how being an Uber partner works. Communication from Uber was excellent during the approval process.
