Employees rate Hartford 26.1% higher than the overall average
I worked at University of Hartford part-time (More than a year)
great environment, lots of intelligent co workers. I always felt like people valued my work and cared about my wellbeing. the surrounding areas are safe and historic.
the weather was not good but it is the north east so it comes with the territory. I was a student worker so I didn't get paid much but it was something.
Advice to Management
try to revitalize the grounds on the residential side of campus. some of the areas have dead or no grass, just dirt, and make the living conditions better for upper class man living on campus.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at University of Hartford (Hartford, CT) in February 2013.
The interview process is actually not as bad as one would think. They bring you into a room and ask you very simple questions. There is nothing to worry about if you are good as public speaking and can come up with creative answers. If you are someone who does not interview well, or has no interview experience, this job should not scare you.
