I worked at VMware full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Product support engineer can have good experience of full stack technical stuff from hardware to software application as well as advanced virtualization technologies. This is a very good place for improving technical skills.

    Cons

It is tough for support engineers to cover the variety of VMware products by the limited number of engineers.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at VMware (Tokyo (Japan)) in March 2013.

    Interview

The interviewer (HR) was a very young lady who changed her jobs in the short term. Obviously she was not good at communicating with people and the way she spoke was not very professional. I got a bad impression of this company because of this lady.

    Interview Questions

    • There was no difficult or unexpected question. The thing is an HR person had not even looked at my resume before the interview.   Answer Question
