Employees rate Hartford 66.1% lower than the overall average
I worked at Webster Bank full-time (Less than a year)
Coworkers were generally really helpful and willing to teach you new skills.
Longevity is rewarded by low pay, painfully small raises, pigeon holing, and layoffs.
Too many people in management do not have the necessary people skills needed to foster a positive work environment.
Employees who are great at their jobs get pigeon holed into that position and it is extremely difficult to get a promotion.
Advice to Management
If an employee has volunteered to perform duties above and beyond their job function in order to fill in for another's absence. When that position becomes available, that employee should be the first one considered instead of being told not to apply because they "will not get it".

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Webster Bank (Hartford, CT) in August 2015.
The hiring process was a little tedious. I had 3 interviews. The first interview was with HR, the second with 2 market managers and the third was with the branch manager that I would be working with. They were very nice asked a few questions. Third interview was mostly scenario questions.
