    Positive Outlook

    I worked at Xerox full-time

    Pros

Highly motivated and reliable Human Resource Specialist with primary discipline in Pension and Defined Benefits knowledge Base.

    Cons

Tend to work late hours (when approved) to keep on top of deliverables. When learning a new process I feel I have to understand every aspect right away.

    Advice to Management

I am an extremely dedicated professional who enjoys working independently within a team environment. I enjoy impressing my supervisor, not to be validated, but rather to prove myself as an excellent candidate to move up or laterally within the company.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Xerox (Cherry Hill, NJ) in July 2013.

    Interview

First you had to hear about the open house. A friend worked there and let me know they were hiring for a six month project. Always had the possibility of being kept on full time. Then you had to have an online application filled out. Then you went in, along with at least 100 of your closest friends, and filed in when they gave you a ticket. Even though you provided them with a resume online with your application, if you didn't have your resume with you, they wouldn't see you. They would call your ticket number and speak with you for about five minutes and then they would tell you to wait. After about a half an hour, you were taken into your second interview. He was very personable and pleasant. Of course, they tell you they will let you know.
