I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Super talented people, ton of product opportunity, winning in multiple categories, hunger to do great things

    Cons

CEO turmoil, lack of overarching vision and focus, too many things happening at once, spread too thin, lots of redundant efforts

    Advice to Management

Lock in on vision and back in the strategy; drive from top down clear focus and what success looks like

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Yahoo (San Francisco, CA) in April 2013.

    Interview

The process was actually quite casual. Interview was fun and engaging. Interviewer was very disarming in order to get a clearer view of me as a person and how I would fit temperment-wise on their team.
