Employees rate Washington 2.5% higher than the overall average
I have been working at eGlobalTech full-time (More than 5 years)
I've been with EGT since 2014 coming here has been one of the best decisions of my career. They've helped in my development and growth and have shown me that they value my contributions to the company. The pay is solid and the opportunity to telework (telework is usually contract specific) has provided me with a good work/life balance.
No real cons, just be sure you try to stay close to the industry standards regarding pay. I'm also curious to observe how thing will be under the Tetra Tech umbrella.
Advice to Management
Seek out the employees you value and let them know. The people at EGT are great to work with and reminding them every so often goes a long way.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at eGlobalTech (Washington, DC) in February 2012.
I applied to the company online at the end of October 2011.
I was contacted by their recruiter during the first week of November.
I had a telephone interview with a project manager in January.
About two weeks later, I was called in for an in person interview at their company headquarters in Arlington with their proposal manager.
At the end of the interview the recruiter came in and introduced herself (this was our first face to face meeting) and told me that they still did not have the contract, but they were going to issue me a letter of intent.
About a week later, when the letter of intent did not materialize, I called the recruiter back but was unable to contact her. I have not heard from the company since.
