I have been working at eMoney Advisor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I truly love working for this company and its amazing people. I have hungered for a company that not only permits, but encourages its people to take risks, to challenge "we have always done it this way" processes and eMoney satisfies my cravings for that. Amazing benefits. Competitive pay. Great people.

    Cons

Honestly I miss the cool office perks like free coffee, candy, pool tables, jeans every day, but the fact that our entire company has successfully worked 100% remote since March 2020 is a good trade off.

    Director Level Position Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Radnor, PA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at eMoney Advisor (Radnor, PA) in November 2021.

    Interview

    Extremely unprofessional process!

The interview process kicked off pretty standard. Screen call with recruiter then hiring manager. This was followed by meeting with functional VP's and culminated with an interview with the CFO. These were run of the mill one-hour zoom interviews.

After the interview with the CFO, the next interview was a check in with the hiring manager. While I understand zoom meetings can be quirky and there are inevitable disruptions, it was very awkward when the VP's SO walked in the background wearing just a towel. I ignored and continued the conversation. This wasn't the unprofessional part!

After the call, the recruiter called for feedback and gauge interest. He said there would be one more meeting with HR as standard practice which was scheduled.

Then I was completely ghosted. The HR Director did not show up to the meeting. The recruiter would not answer his phone. Emails were never returned.

I really cannot believe how unprofessional this company is to potential employees from HR and their recruiters.

All in all, it was about a four or five week process without so much as a "thanks for your time but we chose a different candidate."

Hindsight, I'm glad I didn't get an offer. If they treat potential mid/senior level candidates this way, who knows how they actually treat their employees.
