I have been working at 1-800-Flowers.com full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility to learn and be mentored; flexibility can sometimes mean left to your own devices. A lot of the knowledge you garner comes from your own tenacity. If you do not speak your mind or attempt to pick yourself back up from your errors, you'll be left in the dust. People who are hungry will thrive here.

    Cons

Salary and ability to progress is not clear. Communication on progress by your superiors is lacking. The salary growth is not as appealing as let's say... Other analyst positions within the same capacity at other companies.

    Advice to Management

Please communicate more often with employees at regular intervals as opposed to annual reviews.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at 1-800-Flowers.com (Winter Park, FL) in March 2017.

    Interview

Easy interview. Really didn't ask much. Just wanted to know if you are capable of doing the job and hours. Also wanted us to do a test run. We had to drive our vehicles to customers houses with flowers and deliver them on the first day
