Job interviews are commonplace today, but there once was a time when the interview process didn't even exist. Instead of having to prove their worth in a job interview, people were essentially born into their jobs, and nearly everyone lived and worked in their hometowns.

The Faces Who Drive Our Business and Yours

Teamwork is the foundation of our AMPLIFY training program, where we teach team members to work with each other, retailers, and most importantly, consumers. To guarantee the best team, we recruit, train, and deploy people who meet the exact needs of our clients’ businesses. Our blended learning environment inspires team members to be flexible, engaging, and adept at solving problems.

We start by providing our employees with top-tier ongoing education because we know innovation and growth are only possible through constant education. Our training provides team members with an ability to pick up new information and adapt to new situations quickly.

Another way we invest in our employees is through ongoing placement. Our initial and continued training allow for very little down time between assignments, so employees can move from one initiative to another quickly, with little disruption.

    Reputation Specialist Interview

    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at 2020 Companies.

    Interview

I applied for the Brand Reputation Specialist position online and was called a day or so later by the Digital Strategy Manager. She was very enthusiastic and made me feel like she was extremely interested in me. I was skeptical of this company because of the amount of negative reviews they were receiving online, but knowing that most reviews had little to do with the corporate office, I decided to give them a chance. I figured because they were opening this position to handle the negative reputation, that they truly wanted to change. I went in for an in person interview that was conducted by her (the Digital Strategy Manager) and "her boss." They never shed light on what his role in the company was, but he was extremely cocky and condescending. The entire interview was uncomfortable for me. I felt like I was being asked questions that were meant to trip me up or that were purposefully making me look dumb. They would ask a question and then he would completely interrupt me to talk about himself. Like seriously, he talked about himself more than I talked. The way they asked questions made it seem like they were more interested in someone who could quickly come in and cover up the negative reviews or entice employees to remove them. They did not seem like they genuinely wanted to address the problem. When the interview was over the Digital Strategy Manager walked me to the door and made it seem like she was extremely interested in me. She asked if I had other positions I was considering so she would know how fast she needed to act. I let her know I had a couple of others and she literally told me she would be calling me by that Friday, this was on Wednesday. It has been 10 days since the interview and I have not heard a single thing from them. I was not planning on accepting the position because of the negative vibes I got from the company, especially the condescending man during the interview. Regardless of the outcome of an interview, it is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate for a company to not even call or email the interviewee. This interview was a complete waste of my time and the only reason I am taking the time to leave this review is to warn others to not make the same mistake. Take all online reviews as a caution to run far from this company.
