Our Brand
51Talk (pronounced as FIVE-ONE-TALK) can be translated as “I want to talk”in Chinese. In Chinese, five is pronounced similarly to the word “I” and one is homophonous with the word “want.” That being said, it is one of our goals to ensure that our students have optimal “talk-time” during their lessons. It also sums up the students’ aspiration to master the English language.

Interview
The interview process is done online. 51Talk will ask you to prepare to do a demo lesson for the interview, which they will give you to practice with ahead of time. An interviewer will ask you a few questions and then ask you to do the demo lesson, interacting with them as if they were a young child.
