-Work from home or where you want.
    -Fair performance driven culture.
-We have a lot of fun here and we laugh a lot (which we know has great health benefits!)

It really has been a privilege to work here, and know that the work we do has real positive impact on people's day to day lives. We are doing good in the world which is tremendously rewarding. On top of that, this group of people is amazing. So many smart, charming, empathetic people in one place.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at 7 Cups (Remote, OR) in May 2018.

    Interview

Application -> Video Call -> Terminated here. 7Cups was very up-front about the process and extremely polite. The interview was exactly what you would hope for in an interview -- no whiteboarding, no trick questions or puzzles, but some basic code questions to make sure you know what you're doing. Your answers were expected to be big-picture, not syntax-correct. They were also up front about what problems they had and had not solved already when asking these questions. It was very comfortable and clearly an honest probe into your mind instead of free work. 7Cups was also willing to answer every question I had, and I saw no red flags in any of the company's processes, philosophies, or history. Unfortunately I did not even move to round two.
