    Positive Outlook

I have been working at A.V. Gauge & Fixture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

some great people to work with and a great place to learn. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed with lots of room to grow and learn different things

    Cons

pay being the primary. Paid an average of 34% lower than the national average with anywhere from 15 to 20 hours of over time per week. It's nice because we make a livable salary that is at the average but we have no free time to live it. Lots of racism, to the point where it makes it difficult to justify being nice to people, this comes from both local kentuckians and the canadian supervisors. I have on multiple occasions heard management openly use racial slurs while justifying why some people are lesser than other.

    Advice to Management

pay people what they are worth, learn to respect others, don't bad mouth fellow employees. Salary Transparency.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at A.V. Gauge & Fixture (Windsor, ON (Canada)) in January 2017.

    Interview

Applied online through indeed, received email inviting for first round interview, first round with HR, he has a list of standard questions, he makes notes which will be submitted to concerned department supervisor who will review it to decide whether to invite the candidate for 2nd round, the HR is ignorant, never replied to my emails whether I was selected or not for 2nd round
