I worked at ACE Rent-to-Own full-time (More than a year)
Working with the Public. Great Customer Service Training. Commissions and incentives were great! Helpful Managers. Training was really intense for the first 3 months
A lot of office politics. Managers often played favoritism to the associates that that were bringing in more commissions. Company tends to hire more males than females
Advice to Management
Develop a buddy system where the more successful associates train the less successful ones; at least for the first 3 months
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ACE Rent-to-Own (Lincoln, NE).
Quick interview process via the Vice President of Operations. I was hired within 24 hours.
If you are going to get a job offer the "interview" will turn into a sales pitch on why you want to work for the company.
If you cannot pass a background check without any fellonies don't bother applying. Due to the nature of the job, they cannot hire anyone with a fellony.
