I worked at AGL Resources full-time (More than 5 years)

No real pressure to perform. More like working for a government agency. Start and Stop is regimented.

Bureaucracy at it's worst. They don't care that people do nothing as long as they don't "rock the utility boat". Everyone smiles and plays nice to your face but look out for the passive aggressive action. Utility culture demands that everyone be agreeable. Business demands that sometimes you have to do things that aren't the most popular. Utility employees can write a book on passive aggressive behavior at work.

    Easy Interview

I applied through other source. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at AGL Resources (Naperville, IL) in October 2015.

They ask you several generic questions designed to have no specific answer. You're told to describe to the best of your abilities a situation where you encountered whatever is posed in the question and how you handled it, among other similar questions. Regardless of how impressive your interview is, or how qualified you are, they're probably going to hire their coworker's nephew, so DO NOT get your hopes up.
