AIDS Healthcare Foundation is a global organization providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy to more than 1,072,988 people in 43 countries. We are the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the U.S. A truly independent voice in our mission to rid the world of AIDS, AHF’s operating capital comes from our own self-created social enterprises.
AHF Pharmacies, thrift stores, healthcare contracts and other strategic partnerships generate funding that helps AHF provide medical and advocacy services across the globe. Generating and defining new, innovative ways of treatment, prevention and advocacy is the hallmark of our success. As we create and implement unparalleled programs in new communities in the U.S. and abroad, we expand delivery of healthcare and influence over policy with the sole aim of saving more lives. –
Make more than a living. Make a Difference.
All of us at AHF, from pharmacy, sales and IT, to our healthcare center teams, strive to contribute to our mission; to provide cutting edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay. That means we are consistently advocating for the well-being of our patients and doing all we can to ensure continuity of care.

AHF is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation program that will attract, retain and reward high-performing employees at all levels. To achieve this, AHF takes into account both the external job market and internal comparability. To do this we incorporate the following practices;
At AHF, we make it our mission to provide a culture that encourages diversity. As the world’s largest specialized provider of HIV/AIDS medical care, we serve a vastly diverse population and believe that diversity in the workplace is a vital component to our continued success. It’s important to us that we provide a work environment where employees feel they have ample opportunity regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status and/or disability.
We know that to meet the care needs of our patient population, it is vital that our employees reflect the communities we serve. Diversity is weaved into the fabric of our organization and is an integral part of creating a productive workplace that promotes inclusion and fosters talent. Differences in opinions, values, and knowledge drive bigger and better ideas. Together we make one powerful team fighting for the same mission.
I have been working at AIDS Healthcare Foundation full-time (More than 8 years)
I have been with the company for 10 years and it is the longest I have stayed in a company. I only not get to work with wonderful people but I get to serve the community. AHF is a company that you feel you are family
Every company will have cons but I don't consider this as hindrance with AHF. It is just part of daily life.
Advice to Management
Please continue to work in making AHF more successful.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AIDS Healthcare Foundation (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2014.
Applied on line and was contacted by the HR Department for a phone interview. After the screening I was scheduled for an appointment for a face to face interview with the hiring manager at the site where the position was available..
