I worked at AMC Entertainment part-time (More than a year)
Not too busy, people are usually, nice, working the ticket booths can be lonely but if you have good co workers or a boss that lets you read on the job it isnt too bad.
Children's movies and Indian movies. They are disgusting to clean and definitely the worst. I worked when Frozen came out. I still have PTSD flashbacks.
Advice to Management
Be more lenient because it is basically high schooler who are working there and they have homework to do. Once, I was told I had to come in untill 11 before an AP exam I had the next day. My manager ignored my "excuse" saying I would be fine and so I worked that night. I didn't even do a good job working that night, it was definitely not necessary to do that and I was very hurt afterwards.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Leawood, KS) in March 2016.
It was very odd. I was brought in for an hour long interview. It lasted a bit longer than an hour. I was only asked two questions in the entire interview.
