    Pros

    Creative Freedom, Autonomy, Good Pay,

    Cons

Not much feedback from management. Not much engagement. Little desire to understand analytics provided.

    Advice to Management

Communication and direction is key especially for an independent contractor that is working remotely. Please ask questions about the value and analytics that independent contractors provide. Don't be afraid to say: "I don't understand. Please explain this to me." when an independent contractor is parlaying technical information.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at AMC Networks (New York, NY) in November 2016.

    Interview

The process took months. Several interviews with HR. I made it to the final round of interviews. Thought I did well, however I will never know because I haven't received a formal rejection. I have sent several emails to HR asking for an update on their hiring process and my emails AND phone calls were ignored. Hopefully they will have a better process in the future
