So what do we actually do? Broadly speaking, we do three things:

I have been working at AND Digital full-time (More than a year)
Pros
I was lucky enough to be one of the first 25 to join the Manchester office last year (AND's first office in the North), and its been a really enjoyable first year. Pros include...
- Varied and interesting work with clients. In this year alone I had the opportunity to work as a Scrum Master, Analyst & Product Owner, gaining valuable experiences in each role.
- Continual investment into learning & development including allocated training time, internal courses & fun initiatives to help personal growth. My favourite was a 2-day interactive course all about Product Management.
- Loads of opportunities for role progression, secondments to other locations & career growth.
- A unique culture. Having worked in consultancy before AND is a breath of fresh air. The founder has built a company where the people are recognised and at the heart of everything they do, this makes for a rewarding & fun work environment.
- Company growth. AND's success in Manchester has led to offices in Leeds and Halifax. Bring on year 2 :)
Cons
AND is a consultancy firm and as a result the clients, work and roles are varied, whilst I enjoy this way of working it is not right for everyone. This is not really a con but more of consideration before joining a consultancy firm like AND.
Advice to Management
Keep investing in the North
Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AND Digital (London, England (UK)) in February 2016.
Interview
The assessment day involves a range of activities but is not overly time-consuming and verbose (unlike other assessment days I've attended). You'll be there for half a day, with the morning spent on group activities such as working together to solve a riddle. The purpose of this isn't to see if you solve the riddle, it's to see how you work and how you coordinate with your team.
You'll then have a one to one interview which tends not to be formal, but it's a chance to show who you are and what you'll bring to the team but also to learn more about the company and what sort of work you'll be doing there.
