AWOL Academy is an online marketing education company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Short for “Another Way of Life”, AWOL provides cutting-edge education, tools, and support that gives our students the resources they need to succeed in a new digital economy. Our clients include business owners looking to improve their business online, professionals looking to transition into an online business, or individuals looking to become full-time internet marketers.

I am a brand new employee with AWOL Academy and loving it! The hiring process was exciting and easy to understand. The support that AWOL provides during your HR screening, interview, and new hire process is top of line. You can tell that this company truly cares about the employees they invest in. It speaks volumes when every employee you are in contact with is warm, happy and enthusiastic about the CEO’s, work environment and company itself. There has been no surprises in this process and ample assistance is available when you need it! I am very excited for my future with AWOL.
Twenty word minimum requires me to type here, however, I do not have any cons with AWOL Academy. This company is up and coming!
Advice to Management
Your HR employees are so amazing and interviewing with my supervisor was such a wonderful experience. It’s evident that your company shows appreciation to it’s employees, so my only advice at this point is to just keep it up!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AWOL Academy (Las Vegas, NV).
My first point of contact with the company was a brief phone screen, where I was briefed on the company and the opportunity, after which I submitted my resume and officially threw my hat in the ring for consideration. I interviewed with Human Resources over the phone - it was a fairly standard process where I was asked a handful of questions about my work history and experiences. I advanced to an in person interview with the Executive I would be reporting to which was very casual and conversational. Shortly thereafter, I had a follow up conversation with HR and was later offered the position. HR was very responsive and quick to follow up throughout the process, which, as a job seeker, I really appreciate.
