Since Tom Kulzer founded AWeber in 1998, many bright, creative problem-solvers have joined the team in Chalfont, PA.
As we enter our 18th year in business, our talented team continues to expand as we accomplish our mission of building AWesome tools to support our growing base of customers. Driven by that mission, our team uses a set of six core values to guide our decisions and innovation on a daily basis.

AWeber is a technology company, but is a lot more customer focused than many technology companies. The customer focus is what binds our whole company together as a unified team. In other tech companies, engineers don't even know the names of people in marketing, and sometimes there is no real customer service presence. At AWeber, product teams are cross-functional and cross-departmental, so the daily standup and other team meetings include people from marketing, customer solutions, product, as well as all of the engineering disciplines - development, QA, operations, design, etc. The cross-pollenation and ideas that come from this diversity of thought is pretty amazing.
* Occasionally the company moves *too* fast to improve things, either in the technology space, or in the process/management space, which can cause some bumps & bruises. It's usually worth it.
Advice to Management
I think AWeber is unstoppable as long as leadership continues to push for continuous improvement and transparency, and continues to actively encourage honest feedback from all parts and levels of the organization.
The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at AWeber.
Process felt lengthy and cumbersome for a managerial role, beginning with a 1 hour phone interview, followed by an on-site interview. After that, I was asked to put together a deck about one of two topics and present it. Prior to making the final hiring decision, I received another phone call (meeting #4 at this point) then asking my strategic approach for another one of the prompts. While I completely understand requesting a deliverable as a means to understand the candidate's skills and approach, the request took several hours to complete and in my opinion, was too lengthy for the seniority of the position, which led to frustration when I did not receive an offer. This was further aggravated when I requested feedback on my interview and the decision made and none was provided.
