Since Tom Kulzer founded AWeber in 1998, many bright, creative problem-solvers have joined the team in Chalfont, PA.
As we enter our 18th year in business, our talented team continues to expand as we accomplish our mission of building AWesome tools to support our growing base of customers. Driven by that mission, our team uses a set of six core values to guide our decisions and innovation on a daily basis.
Anyone can say they're remarkable. But how many companies will, say, knock your socks off with their customer service and then send you a new pair of socks in the mail?
That's the kind of thing AWeber does. We know our customers' names and we're here seven days a week with personalized support.

Customer feedback is just as important to us. Our user experience team is continually using our customers' suggestions to upgrade our service.
We're the ones who invented autoresponder emails, so we know all about innovation. As our CEO likes to say, "Dream big, fail fast and iterate on what works." Constant education is a big part of that. We encourage team members to keep learning by attending events and conferences or continuing formal education in their field.
We're all about educating our customers, too. We want your email campaign to be the best it can be, because when your business succeeds, we succeed too. We share all the advice we've learned in blog posts, webinars and guides - plus, we host monthly educational meetups at our headquarters.
As serious as we are about our service, we seriously enjoy every minute of our work here. And we know how to have some serious fun.

I have been working at AWeber full-time (Less than a year)
Since joining here at AWeber, I have been welcomed with nothing but open arms. With all of the support I received from my manager and colleagues, I have been able to hit the ground running and get right into a normal day to day. The training period you're given during your first 1-2 weeks was also extremely helpful in learning the product inside and out.
The biggest pro for me is the work-life balance. This was something I didn't have at my previous role and was more than pleased to find that the work-life balance here is REAL. As long as you are working hard day in and day out, you'll be able to get in at a time that's convenient for you (between 8 and 9) and leave right at 5 (or before if you need to!) I feel like I'm treated like an adult here and I'm trusted to do my job without too much oversite and NO micro-management.
So far, so good!
PS: the people you work with here make coming into work everyday inspiring and enjoyable!
I really don't have any cons other than the maternity/paternity leave policy. I know that management is working on this though.
Advice to Management
Continue to listen to your employees! The feedback you've implemented has seemingly made this place even better, so the AWeber process is working.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AWeber.
Classic HR "screening", which is usually generic questions that you can expect from someone in HR asking a technical person to answer. If you don't sound like a complete idiot, it's followed by two hours of online algorithmic testing that's scored, and also development that's evaluated by some mystery developer. In summary, it's at least a day, if not more, of interruptive work... and that's just to GET an interview. You will then wait weeks to hear back (while you could be accepting another position). It's about the least personable way I've ever seen a company interview someone, and I can't say it's a great way to really find the best people either. I can only imagine they came up with this process because the HR department got tired of filtering out candidates... but it also means they will lose really good ones.
