1983 was also the same year, Dennis Yee, our President, decided to start Abacus Technology. He was the company's lone employee at the time, but since then, he has evolved our company from a one-contract transportation logistics consultancy to a communications and information technology firm with hundreds of employees supporting clients throughout the United States and abroad.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Abacus Technology (San Diego, CA) in August 2016.
They invited 40+ people on a career day to the office. They extended an invitation to me. Twenty minutes after the planned interview time, they escorted us into a conference room for a 30+ minute group meeting, where the recruiter and CEO spoke to all of us. Then the engineering managers took all the applicants for technical jobs, only 4 of us, where they asked us questions as a group. One engineer flat out told them the situation was entirely unprofessional, and he left the room. They also started the meeting by looking at our resumes for the first time, where they told me that my background was not what they were looking for - an hour into the interview process. I couldn't agree more that this was a unprofessional and unorganized interview process.
