Erin “Kate” McElroy, Physical Therapist, in our Austin, Texas office.
Both Kate’s mom and dad were military nurses. Although not a native Texan, Kate attended the University of Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology while working as a NASM/ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Kickboxing instructor. She pursued her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated co-valedictorian.

In 2017, she entered into home health care with Texas Home Health.
Kate was very surprised to receive this award and wanted to mention that she wouldn’t be successful without all her co-workers and their support… It is truly a team effort.

He often calls his patients the day before his visit to remind them of the appointment and to make sure they will be available. Then he shows up the next day on time… like clockwork! Patients are always saying how much they appreciate this.
It is without a doubt that Jonathan has a way of making his patients feel special.

Those of us who are privileged to work with him know it is about his service to others.

Advice to Management
Keep rewarding caregivers that provide quality care and outcomes
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at AccentCare (San Diego, CA) in March 2016.
Was contacted by recruiter and scheduled for an in person interview at the office. I met with the recruiter for a while then with the director of nursing. Very easy to talk to and wanted to get to know me. I was conditionally offered a position following the interview which I accepted then I was scheduled for orientation and given HR paperwork.
