I worked at Accusoft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at Accusoft was truly a pleasure. I was there almost three years. During that time, I became engaged, got married, and had a baby. At every life milestone, Accusoft was there for me both as a work family and as a truly professional environment. The leadership at Accusoft really stands out. From the CEO to the Directors to the Dev Managers to each team member, integrity, honesty, and quality are the main focus. I was able to grow in my career as a senior engineer by not only honing my technology skills but also my soft skills and leadership skills. Accusoft is about people first. Good people make great software and give great customer service. The team atmosphere was fun and collaborative with good work-life balance (and company-provided, fully-stocked kitchens!). The Agile methodology and emphasis on industry best practices, as well as time to innovate (team hackathons), really set Accusoft apart. I highly recommend Accusoft as a superior place to work and grow as a person as well as an engineer.

    Cons

While Accusoft made strides to respond to changing market pay rates, it was not quick enough or significant enough.

    Advice to Management

Continue to lead with integrity, honesty, and with an eye for quality.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Accusoft in December 2017.

    Interview

I applied online. They emailed me to set up a 15 min phone interview. I thought they were going to tell me more about the company but it was basically an informal technical interview. A few days later we set up a google hangout interview. Here is when things went down hill. The recruiter said "go on google hangout at this time xx:xx and look for an invitation." But I never received one. I emailed them to reschedule but never got a resonance. Some days later I emailed them again and they sent me a rejection email.
