I have been working at Active International full-time (More than 5 years)
Nice building and facilities. Good benefits. Flexible work program. Opportunities to do community volunteer work on company time. Can wear jeans every day. Pretty good promotional oppportunities and lots of success stories at senior levels (but varies by department). Some really good managers.
Some of the entry level work is detail-oriented and tedious. Morale is not great right now. Some really weak managers.
Advice to Management
Continue to listen to employee input and make changes.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Active International (Pearl River, NY) in February 2017.
Very formal, meet with key members of team. First with hiring manager then with two other department heads. What was strange was each made same comments about the company, product and role. It became obvious they were looking for ideas and strategy suggestions.
