Mission: Our mission is to make it safe and easy to activate data anywhere.
#TBT: Let the good times roll! We celebrated Mardi Gras in Conway last week with a fun happy hour! Acxiom associates stopped by after work to enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment from local jazz legend Rodney Block. Some lucky associates even went home with prizes at the end of the night, including a flat screen tv! They’re living the #AcxiomLife! #MardiGras2019
We have the responsibility to guide future generations and are proud to be a multi-year sponsor of the University of Arkansas High School Programming Contest. This event will bring talented students to the Fayetteville campus tomorrow for an exciting #problemsolving & #programming event. These bright minds will showcase their abilities in the C, C++, or Java. They could be our future colleagues at @Acxiom and we are thrilled to see their talents! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMAoe
Acxiom enables people-based marketing everywhere through a simple, open approach to connecting systems and data that drives seamless customer experiences and higher ROI. We believe data is the key to creating meaningful interactions at scale between consumers and the brands they love.
Innovation is constantly driving fragmentation and creating data silos within modern marketing departments, causing consumers to experience far too many marketing messages that are disconnected, untargeted, and wasteful.
Acxiom helps thousands of clients and partners around the globe work together to address these challenges. A leader in ethical data use and identity for more than 50 years, Acxiom is dedicated to helping marketers achieve superior business results by creating experiences that deepen customer connections
As an innovative growth company, we value and seek out a diverse workforce. Today 40% of Acxiom employees are female—which is significantly better than most technology companies. Yet diversity extends way beyond gender; it’s multidimensional, extending to global experience, veteran status, gender preference, ethnicity, geographic location, leadership style, generation, and other factors.
When you acquire and retain a workforce with a rich mix of experiences, your employees are happier, your solutions are more innovative, and your business is stronger. So in addition to finding applicants with leadership potential, excellent technical skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a results-oriented mindset, we try to uncover the individuality in each applicant and make sure every candidate has the opportunity to showcase their personality and aspirations.
As part of our commitment to build a strong pipeline, hire a diverse workforce, and nurture a “win together” philosophy, we’re proud to offer scholarships to students who are enrolled in a full-time, post-secondary degree program in select technology fields. Since 2012, we’ve awarded 31 scholarships to students within an underrepresented population in the technology workforce.
Acxiom is committed to hiring those who help keep all of us free – veterans and members of the Guard and Reserve. Acxiom fully honors and enforces the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
We recognize the contribution that veterans and members of the Guard and Reserve have made, and continue to make, to our nation and communities. We also recognize that the skills learned in military service are often the exact skills needed to excel at Acxiom. Therefore, Acxiom actively seeks to employ veterans.
For all associates, we emphasize the importance of diversity through a number of initiatives. Internally, we publicize information about multicultural global holidays to help our associates learn about and appreciate the cultural practices of their colleagues. We also participate in industry forums and have provided scholarships to organizations that promote equal opportunity, including the Arkansas Industry Liaison Group and the Black Data Processing Associates, a nationwide group devoted to preparing minority professionals in our industry.
Acxiom also promotes diversity in the companies we choose to work with as subcontractors. Our comprehensive Supplier Diversity program helps ensure that minority- women- and small business-owned firms are given an equal opportunity to compete for business opportunities with our company.
Our goal is to seek, attract, retain, and motivate incredible associates who will revolutionize our industry. To do so, we strive to offer an attractive set of benefits, wellness options, and perks.
Awesome Onsite Site Perks
We embrace the diversity of our associates by offering unique, location-specific perks that reflect the personalities of our people:
Nurturing Our Community With Compassion
We all win when the team wins, which also means that we all hurt when one of our own is hurting. Acxiom’s Compassion Leave Program provides employees with additional paid time off that can be used to deal with a qualifying personal or family medical crisis. Associates may donate up to 16 of their paid hours off to assist fellow associates in their time of need. These donated hours are then placed in a bank. Associates may apply for compassion leave to receive an additional 240 paid hours once they have exhausted their personal PTO.
Acxiom Cares activates associates’ passion, talent and time to make impactful change in our communities.
Because of our deep commitment to our employees and investment in the community, Acxiom Cares gives back in three huge ways.
Matching Gifts - Acxiom Cares matches associate donations to charitable organizations that meet established eligibility criteria. This personal generosity helps to enhance the quality of life where our associates live and work.
Dollars for Doers - For every hour our associates volunteer with STEAM organizations, Acxiom donates $20 to that cause.
Volunteer Time Off - We give associates up to 40 hours of paid time off (including travel time!) to volunteer for qualifying 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
Acxiom Cares Captains - We enlisted the leadership of 16 Acxiom Cares Captains at every location. These goodness-making, world-saving, grant-giving individuals are the go-to contact for local associates. Captains meet monthly to share best practices and challenges and collaborate to engage the company’s global workforce in volunteer events.
We believe in our own exceptionalism. We don’t aspire to be mediocre, good, nor even great – we intend to be the absolute best in everything we do. We will employ exceptional people, challenge them to accomplish exceptional things, and achieve exceptional results for our clients and shareholders. We will do this through five guiding values:
Above all, we will do what’s right.
We will always say what we mean, and do what we say.
We will empower people.
We will respect people and time.
We will get stuff done.
I worked at Acxiom full-time (More than a year)
Awesome campus at Conway. Technical and professional, but down to earth co-workers that are easy to get along with. "Managers" where more like true "Leaders"; they didn't just sit back and manage, they got into the work alongside employees to get things done when the crunch was on. No wonder it has been rated as one of the best places in Arkansas to work.
Like perhaps any company positions are based on company/sections quarterly earnings and future projections.
Advice to Management
A few less meetings would be nice.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Acxiom (Conway, AR) in October 2016.
Applied online. Got a phone interview within two weeks. It was a lot of the normal interview questions you would expect. Phone interview was on a Monday and I was scheduled for an in-person interview the following Friday. They offered me the position within 30 minutes of the end of the interview. The interviewers were very pleasant. They asked very practical questions to see how I thought and processed logic problems. Overall, the process was great and I was very blessed that it went as quickly as it did.
