AdTrack allows employees to take on as much responsibility as they like. If you're a go-getter and want to tackle new ideas that support the company's strategies, then you are allowed to "go for it." Management also does not load so many priorities on your desk that you won't be able to succeed.

Employees must be self-reliant. Your boss will collaborate with you on your priorities and then you're expected to execute.People who can't function without paint-by-numbers instructions will not thrive.

After some years of staganation, the company has set new and clear strategy for the future.. It is putting the pieces in place to get where they want to go. This is a result of upper management changes within the past two years. The vision is external driven to meet the demands of the marketplace. New processes and tools are being implement that has resulted in a culture change that some long-time employees took some time to adjust to. New products are being introduced that will solidify relationships with current clients and attract new clients.

A new sales team was put in place two years ago. They have made great strides in the last two years to focus on the best possible clients that are a good fit for AdTrack. The sales team is not micro-managed. The sales manager has one weekly meeting with the sales team to set their priorities and then the sales team is left to execute. Of course, they can ask for guidance, as needed.

The account management team, some who have been here for a long time, has long been recognized for their attentiveness to clients. Surveys conducted with clients identify account management attentiveness as one of the best things about working with AdTrack. In the past, the account managers lacked some knowledge and training to meet market needs, but within the last six months new training programs have been implemented to upgrade their knowledge base.

Employees work together as a team. They pitch in and help each other on big projects or to brainstorm new ideas. A few times a year a white collar worker may need to help in the warehouse when the shipping workload increases.

The company is very supportive of employees with families. Employees aren't stressed when they have a sick child because time is given allow employees to stay home and care for sick children. We have a lot of working parents on staff.

Some of our computer equipment could use upgrading, but a new IT manager is in place. The new IT manager is auditing IT needs to make improvements. The decor is a patchwork of old office furniture and a bit bland, but servicable. The company invests its money in products and people.

    Advice to Management

Continue your movement into the future. Coach the employees who may have culture change issues to keep them moving forward.
