I have been working at Adept Technology full-time

    Pros

The team that I'm working for is amazing. They know their stuff and are very knowledgeable in robotics and software, which is a really good thing as you get to learn new things and grow in this field. Manager is a great guy, approachable and helps direct your career with timely meetings.
Overall a good bunch of people and a friendly environment to work in.

    Cons

Haven't come across anything so far. Looking forward to some really interesting projects in the near future!

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adept Technology (Amherst, NH) in May 2015.

    Interview

1st round, phone call with hiring manager.
2nd round, face-to-face with hiring manager.
3rd round, face-to-face with team, presentation on any technical topic.
The hiring manager was enthusiastic, yet some team members were unprofessional and laughed and made faces during presentation; demonstrating a maturity level that of a 3rd grade kid. They obviously did not read the resume ahead as their questions were already answered on the resume. These people appear to be too locked up in their own importance. I'd suggest moving on to a shop that is mature and has a better planned product.
