Our dedicated team of Retail Merchandisers works to ensure our client's brands are displayed prominently in-store. We do this by maintaining visually stimulating displays to engage the customer and by building strong relationships with in-store management. Each of the three positions on this team- Retail Project, Sales or Reset Merchandiser- requires an eye for detail, an understanding of presentation, and strong communication skills.
Our product demonstrations team is an essential part of our business. They are personable, outgoing and foster meaningful relationships with both our clients and customers. The team develops a sense of ownership with their assigned products, conducts live demonstrations, and positively engages with customers. There are two unique positions within this team, Event Specialist and Brand Ambassador; both offer the opportunity to grow personally and with Advantage Solutions.
I have been working at Advantage Solutions part-time (Less than a year)
Optimistic management....good training. My new manager is Matthew Tubbs. He is honest, kind and gets results. Currently we are at the new store in McKinney, Texas...1284. After getting through a grand opening we are starting to get into the groove and rythmn.
Some coworkers do not pull their weight. I have noticed them leaving before cleaning after being on the floor. This has not gone unnoticed and will remedy itself. There are alot of no shows right now.
Advice to Management
Too many cooks spoil the broth! So much contradictory information. Again, as things progress in this new store, that will right itself. I go to Matthew for my information and training advice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions.
First round was a phone interview. Asked many typical behavioral questions. As long as you are ready to answer those, it will be a good experience. Not much pressure. However, the second round involves more preparation.
