Retail Merchandisers

Our dedicated team of Retail Merchandisers works to ensure our client's brands are displayed prominently in-store. We do this by maintaining visually stimulating displays to engage the customer and by building strong relationships with in-store management. Each of the three positions on this team- Retail Project, Sales or Reset Merchandiser- requires an eye for detail, an understanding of presentation, and strong communication skills.

Product Demonstrators

Our product demonstrations team is an essential part of our business. They are personable, outgoing and foster meaningful relationships with both our clients and customers. The team develops a sense of ownership with their assigned products, conducts live demonstrations, and positively engages with customers. There are two unique positions within this team, Event Specialist and Brand Ambassador; both offer the opportunity to grow personally and with Advantage Solutions.

    I have been working at Advantage Solutions part-time (Less than a year)


    The wage is significantly above minimum, the supervisors are attentive and respond quickly to anything that might come up, they are compassionate and generous and have truly pulled together for there employees that are on quarantine at this moment, they offer benefits to full and part time employees, regardless of whether you are new to the company or have been there for awhile I feel like part of a family my supervisor listens to my ideas and trusts my work and observations. I am proud to be with this company through this trying time and after we get through it, also there is potential to work more hours than given in a week, if you are the type of person that can learn fast and work on your own then you would love this job


    The company is in California so I haven't met any of my superiors in person, I had a little trouble starting out with my online training, there is no actual hands on training, I had to just kind of wing it with my handbook at first, I did not start out with many hours, as far as any paperwork for government assistance it is really hard to find someone to fill it out and turn it back in. It is really hard to get in touch with HR

    Advice to Management

    There is too many sights to go to while trying to get to online training and finding payslips, there is not a way to check hours that I have worked before I get my paycheck to make sure my events were turned in properly, I have to just trust that all my time is put in correctly.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions (Memphis, TN) in February 2016.


    Two phone interviews, one with a recruiter and one with supervisor also screened by another supervisor. There was little to no feedback during the interview and many situational questions that can seem tricky.
