Although we can’t celebrate Black History Month together in-person this year, our employee resource group RISE — which is committed to fostering engagement and inclusion for people of color — has planned an internal event next week to honor the resilience of Black communities. The event will feature instrumental contributions from Black figures in history, as well as a conversation with guest speaker Dr. Randi Nelson, whose works focus on the intersection between financial security and physical health and wellbeing. How are you recognizing and celebrating Black History Month?

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AdvantageCare Physicians (New York, NY)

    Interview

    Easy going. Asked basic questions (see below). Two rounds--decision made quickly (24 hours post second interview). I communicated with the HR manager throughout the process via phone and e-mail. Only reason I declined the offer was due in part that the position's roles and responsibilities outpaced the compensation offer and it was non-negotiable. I am a new grad so I appreciate the opportunity, but did not continue forward. HR was very understanding of this.
