Interview
I got to the case study round and spent hours (probably 2-3 hrs a night for a week) preparing. I was surprised that they asked technical payments questions like “what’s the difference between a gateway and processor.” A lot more specific payments questions followed. The interviewer (1 in particular) seemed really biased and pushed me off the phone, which was incredibly rude. They said I would hear back the same day. I heard from the recruiter 2 days later that I didn’t get the position because I needed more data to support my findings. This was such a random reason because I had plenty of data to support my recommendations. I asked follow up questions regarding the feedback only to be ghosted.
