I have been working at Agency for the Performing Arts full-time
Exposure to all facets of entertainment, not just your dept.
Smaller than the other agencies with aspirations to grow thanks to the new leadership.
Due to size, you get to meet every person in the company.
Doesn't have the cold corporate structure that bigger agencies like CAA has, allowing space for experimenting in different dept.
Paid time off, holiday pays.
The sky is the limit once you are an agent.
Pay is low, but thats entertainment... Make it up in overtime some times.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Agency for the Performing Arts (New York, NY).
I did a Facetime interview with the assistant in December, during which she told me I was a great candidate and they would be doing in-person interview with the agent herself in January. I went in for an in-person interview a month later, and a week or so after that got the job.
