-There are a lot of genuinely talented, warm and professional employees throughout the company (unfortunately very few are calling the shots!)
Senior Management is Terrible ( = Kleptocracy), they are not worth their pay rates. Hence everyone else's pay is static and sub standard.
Modern technology has rapidly changed the pace of innovation throughout the industry yet somehow the senior management team remains technologically un-savvy and unwilling to adapt.
Advancement is based on performance standards that are applied arbitrarily.
Sales team wags the dog and focus solely on chasing a $ goal, all other departments and processes be damned.
Advice to Management
I challenge you all to find comparable positions and compensation anywhere else and leave the management of the company to professionals. The "Lifer Team" mentality is causing stagnation, hurts morale and helps to spin the rapid revolving door of talented individuals who arrive with great expectations and leave demoralized.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Air Culinaire (White Plains, NY).
I had 2 interviews in person and one phone interview. The employee interviewing me couldn't wait to leave so I probably would have gotten the offer even if I did a terrible job interviewing.
