I worked at Air System Components full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good products and reputation. New owners, Johnson Controls, represent the best opportunity for personal growth if you're on the way up. Nice facility and people, fun to work with the reps.

    Cons

They were the market leader, now struggling to find growth in a changing market. Taking other company's products and sticking a new label on it is what dying companies do. Product quality suffered moving manufacturing to Mexico. JCI purchase will result in casualties as duplicate services are removed.

    Advice to Management

This isn't rocket science anymore. Sell direct or find something new. There is an end to this.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Air System Components (Fort Smith, AR) in October 2015.

    Interview

After a brief discussion of my application I was asked why I thought I would be a good fit for the job. I was then taken into a room where two of the management team members took turn asking me questions.
