This company is very competitive and well rounded. Schedule is pretty decent as I am home most days, pending adverse weather. Weekends and holidays either off or well compensated to stay away, and sometimes they allow repositioning in aircraft, but that is usually more wear than it is worth.

    Cons

I've been here almost 19 years. The grass is not greener and this company cares about employees.

    Advice to Management

We would like to get a day off every now and then instead of needing to burn an entire week off for just one day that we need to spend at a scouting event or go to a kids piano recital

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Air T (Iron Mountain, MI) in May 2015.

    Interview

It is a good process, they want to know if you fit into the mold so to speak. Can you work well with others and how do you handle stress. What would you do if the "customer" approached and demanded that you fly...contact my manager and handle with kindness. The most difficult thing for a pilot to do is show judgement in a particular situation and that is what they want to know, along with that you play well with others and do not run with scissors, or at least don't admit to running with scissors.
