I worked at Akashi Japanese Restaurant part-time (More than a year)
They were very flexible with scheduling, and wouldn't ask why you couldn't work certain days like other places do sometimes.
Language Barrier, all the time, very difficult. Also, they only give you 20% off food, even when you're working. You do get soup and steamed rice free though.
Advice to Management
Make sure you don't mess anything up with peoples pay checks, because you can't explain well enough how you're fixing it.
