I worked at Akimeka (More than 3 years)
Laid-back working environment with flexible working hours. Great working relationships with team members. Opportunity to work with technology that supported crucial military operations.
Office politics sometimes clouded the judgement and of managers and employees which tended to cause tension among the team. The work was not always steady and fast-paced.
Advice to Management
Invest more in developing meaningful and teaming working relationships with employees. Allow employees the opportunity to cross-train in different areas to get them better engaged and focused on providing quality IT services to clients.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Akimeka.
I was contact by recruiter from staffing comp and set up the interview later that day. Then I was interview with prime contractor and then was hire by sub contract comp. Receive offer after a week.
