To ensure families have convenient access to the pediatric care they need, we have two hospital campuses and 60+ urgent, primary and specialty care locations throughout northeast Ohio. In addition, we proudly partner with other health systems to bring our neonatal and pediatric expertise to patients in their community hospitals, and our home care and school health nurses provide care for kids in their homes and schools.
In addition to our primary, critical and specialized care, we offer more than 100 advocacy, education and outreach programs designed to promote the well-being of children throughout our region. We are a major teaching affiliate of the Northeast Ohio Medical University, helping to train future generations of pediatricians and specialists, and our research institute is dedicated to advancing pediatric medicine and improving standards of patient care.

No organization is perfect, but Children's is a great place to work. They understand the importance of recognizing their strengths and weaknesses.
Advice to Management
Continue to focus on organizational culture and increasing partnerships with services in the community to reach more patients and families facing challenges with access to care.
I applied in-person. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Akron Children's Hospital (Akron, OH) in July 2016.
Typical interview questions. I was told in a couple weeks they would contact me after a interviews were complete. I followed up after my interview with hand-written thank you notes, after 30+ days of no response I contacted HR and was told "we do not have an offer for you," no reason as to why either.
