I worked at Albany-Chicago Company, LLC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There was opportunity available for those who were ambitious and willing to work very hard. The vacation package was good for the area and industry.

    Cons

Heavy workloads and a lean workforce made it a challenging work environment. The support- to production-staff ratio was very unbalanced. As a result, the culture was reactive rather than proactive.

    Advice to Management

They needed to be more forward-looking in their staff development.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Albany-Chicago Company, LLC (Pleasant Prairie, WI) in May 2009.

    Interview

Apply to a temp service QPS. That is pretty much it. If you have a solid attendance history you should get the job no problem. Very easy to get in. Once you get in with the temp service you do a walk through and then you say yes or no and usually everything just falls into place.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

They don't negotiate unless you are applying for a salary position. Don't go higher than 12 starting entry-level and no lower than 10 per hour
