I worked at Alcatel-Lucent full-time (More than a year)
I loved working here, is convenient to where I lived and the work environment was good most of the time. If you put in an honest day's work, you will get what you need from this company.
If you feel there are cons, you should find somewhere else to work.
Advice to Management
more flexibility in work schedule
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Alcatel-Lucent.
Mostly works out through referral. Technical interview was a breeze. Mostly people questions about the general layer2/layer3 concepts. One round of interview on coding skills in C. One round of interview on data structures.
