Was it an interview with Algolia or Angola? There was a clear cultural divide between how the USA and Europe performs interviews, and the staff while appearing 'nice' were just going through the motions. Their interview style was so poor that I left all three rounds feeling dejected and poorly interviewed. In all I wasted three hours and that doesn't include typical interview prep. Avoid wasting your time and apply elsewhere.InterviewThe final interview was orientated around an exercise with a director who pretented to want some imaginary data. I was tasked with trying to understand what he wanted. I was told I didn't need to see an example dataset to explore what he wanted, yet I was supposed to pretend to be the subject matter expert. I wonder why I didn't do my best in the interview?
