    I have been working at Allegheny Health Network full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good team members, most managers and everyone under managers are great to work with. New CMIO is very good and has great vision, he will take the company in a good direction

    Cons

    Baseline expectation of 45 hours minimum per week and very frequently much more. Regularly scheduled for 9-10 hour shifts which are unnecessary to support the types of go-lives we have (IT)

    Advice to Management

    My work agreement states that I am paid my salary based on a 40 hour work week. I understand that as a salaried employee, it is my duty to work more than that and at unusual times (evenings and weekends) from time to time. However, when it becomes the expectation to work 50-60 hour weeks on a regular basis, no questins asked, it is disheartening.

    I applied online. I interviewed at Allegheny Health Network (Pittsburgh, PA) in November 2016.

    Interview

    I was contacted by the recruiter by email, asking to schedule a phone screen which we did. The recruiter was friendly and helpful. We set up an interview time at the end of the screen call. I received a confirmation email, then a more detailed email with instructions/directions. I was met by the two hiring managers and spend about an hour and half discussing the position and my qualifications. I found them both to be well-spoken and engaged, and they described what was needed in detail. A very good experience.
