    Pros

    Allegiant is different from most airlines, I appreciate being able to go home the same day . We only do turns.

    Cons

    Pay scale could be better. Currently fighting for a contract.

    Application

    I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allegiant Travel in October 2017.

    Interview

    Round 1 - Face to Face Interview on campus. Received no confirmation email regarding the venue and time. Questions asked - Business model of Allegiant, their competitors, past experience in Tableau and Excel, differences between Allegiant and their competitors. One other questions was - How many slices of pizza was consumed in America yesterday?

    Round 2 - Got an email saying I have been selected to the second round of a face to face live video interview. Got changed to a phone interview at the last minute. Received no prior information/notification about this change. Luckily I carried my phone with me. Questions were too advanced for the level of an intern.
    SQL - Difference between rank and dense rank, CTE and derived tables, left join and left outer join
    Tableau - Level of detailed expression, differences in data blend and join
    General HR questions and how much revenue was generated by food and beverages in a flight to Orlando yesterday.
