For over 22 years, Alliant has worked with United Airlines in organizing the most magical trip of the year, the Fantasy Flight to the North Pole, allowing foster care and adult clients board the plane for a fairy-tale like escapade.
Alliant teams often come together to benefit people in need. Over the years, we have partnered with Goodwill, Greater Chicago Food Depository, Feed My Starving Children and other organizations, helping improve the quality of lives of those in need.
Annual Volleyball Tournament/ Fundraising
The annual Employee Volleyball Tournament has been held since 2006. This event benefits a different charity each year. Thousands of dollars are raised annually, primarily through employee donations. Tournament beneficiaries have included: Hadley School for the Blind, Special Olympics of Illinois, Red Cross, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society and more.
Banking on Our Future
Alliant is particularly proud to promote financial literacy through Foundation support of programs that provide financial education through our partnership with Operation HOPE and Des Plaines School District 62. Through Operation HOPE's Banking on Our Future program, Alliant employee volunteers deliver personal financial management instruction to every student in the Chippewa and Algonquin Middle Schools as part of the Life Skills class curriculum. Since the partnership's inception in 2005, over 5,000 students have received Banking on Our Future training
Annual Chili Cook-Off
Our Chili Cook-off is a fun way for our colleagues to raise money for Bears Care, a Chicago Bears charity.

Alliant is more than just a job. They make you feel important from day one, your never just a number. On top of having a very comfortable work environment Alliant offers great benefits including medical and paid time off. Alliant really tries to make even the littlest attempts to make work enjoyable by caring about your personal health and simply being comfortable working at a desk all day!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Alliant Credit Union (Chicago, IL) in January 2017.
I was contacted by the recruiting team. I had 2 phone interviews, and final interviews in person. I flew back to Chicago for final round interviews which really gave me a solid understanding of the organization, culture, leadership, etc.
