Interview
I applied at the end of April and was contacted in mid-May to talk with a recruiter. She asked me a few high level questions about my eligibility to work, covid vaccines, the basic HR stuff. She also let me know the hiring process, which was a call with the Hiring Manager, the Director of Agile Transformation, and then a few other Scrum Masters. At the end of that call, we set up a time for me to talk with the Hiring Manager. The call with the Hiring Manager was as expected. Her camera was off and we talked about my experience. She was very knowledgeable about Scrum and Agile and asked good questions. I heard back from the Recruiter shortly after to set up time to meet with the Director of Agile Transformation. He asked me what value I could bring to the department and then we had a role playing activity. He let me know on the call I wasn't a good fit based on the role play, but told me to keep in touch for future SM opportunities. Overall, it was a good experience. The recruiter enjoyed her job and the company and was very pleasant to work with the entire way.InterviewWhat is the difference between a project manager and a scrum master?
