I have been working at Allison & Partners full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been with Allison+Partners for more than 10 years, and I'm not alone. Several of my colleagues have taken a second sabbatical (one is offered after 5 years). At the same time it's a high-growth organization, and melding the old and new together keeps the agency current while keeping its culture consistent. Global opportunities are really intriguing.

    Cons

Not everyone is a fit in this entrepreneurial environment, as you need to be smart, self-directed and comfortable in a high-growth situation.

    Advice to Management

As a "people first" agency, lesser talent sometimes is given too much latitude in hopes that they will turn it around. Excising underperformers, always papered over by high performers, more quickly will be a win for everyone

I applied online. I interviewed at Allison & Partners (Portland, OR) in January 2017.

    Interview

Submit a resume, first interview takes place in the office with potential managers and head of the intern program. Second interview is over a beer with the head of the office. Better like beer!
