Great product offering, plan administration and customer service. It's an ideal add on sale for existing group insurance and or 401k customers, and is entirely turn key. Just sell and receive your monthly commissions.
Commissions have decreased somewhat since this unit was acquired by Allstate. This is partially offset by reduced customer claim problems. And while Allstate is a great brand that is well known in the consumer space, this doesn't translate well into credibility in corporate selling.
Advice to Management
Allstate is a well run business with great agent support and customer care. Giving some thought to creating a distinct brand identity in business sales would translate into being a credible competitor here.

The interview process was standard; I completed and submitted my application, then was interviewed by HR. Then I was asked to present a demo of my training skills and was interviewed by several team members.
