    Pros

Amazing Culture, great teachers, great mentors

    Cons

No space to move up unless someone leaves (typical for industry), lip service paid to growth but not always followed up.

    Advice to Management

Do anything you can to keep the good managers and directors.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Alston & Bird (Atlanta, GA) in April 2011.

    Interview

Pretty quick one on one interview with HR, which led to a group interview with the practice group that I went on to work with. The whole process was pretty easy, although it took them six weeks to make a decision to hire. The group interview was congenial and we discussed paralegal responsibilities and work-life balance. I did get a good understanding of what I'd be doing if hired.
