Coworkers are smart and engaging. Work is always interesting, and you’re limited only by potential.
Regardless of title, your role on the deal team is largely defined by ability.
Comp structure is formula based and very predictable.
Bonuses paid right before Christmas.
The hours can be long and unpredictable. Can be called to travel across the country with little to no advance warning.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Alvarez & Marsal (New York, NY) in August 2018.
No formal questions, they just wanted to get to know me. There were 4 of them asking me questions. Everyone asked thoughtful questions and were very considerate. It was a really nice process. I'd stick around this company for a long time. As long as you can run through your resume, you'll be fine.
