I worked at Ameco (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Dynamic, fast pace, a lot of different opportunities, good benefits, excellent executives

    Cons

No opportunities to growth within the organizations. People are move laterally despite their errors and poor performance. Rather than promoting from within, people are brought from the outside. Too many changes demoralize employees.

    Advice to Management

Change mentality and culture. A lot of good people are leaving

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Ameco (Columbia, SC) in March 2016.

    Interview

After my resume was pulled, it was only one interview. They didn't try to stump me or ask any hard questions. It was more like a conversation and they tried to get to know me. Both of my interviewers were very nice, yet had great poker faces. Great experience and professional, timely contact.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

I didn't try to negotiate, as the offer was fair.
